Maud Ellmann (University of Chicago) is author of The Nets of Modernism: Henry James, Virginia Woolf, James Joyce, and Sigmund Freud, as well as monographs on Eliot and Pound, and on Elizabeth Bowen. Professor Ellmann has edited a volume on psychoanalytic literary criticism and is the general editor of Mid-Century Modern Writing from Edinburgh University Press.
