Melba Cuddy-Keane

Melba Cuddy-Keane is Emerita Professor in the Department of English at the University of Toronto and a past president of the International Virginia Woolf Society and the Modernist Studies Association. Her areas are modernism, narratology, and book history/print culture; her publications include Virginia Woolf, the Intellectual, and the Public Sphere (2003), the Harcourt annotated edition of Woolf’s Between the Acts (2008) and the co-authored Modernism: Keywords (2014). Her digital projects include Ngram charts for Victorian/Modernist comparisons, GIS mapping of London in Mrs. Dalloway, and data visualizations of hard and soft infrastructures in The Years. Her most recent work concerns interfaces between narrative and cognitive neuroscience/psychology.
